Dr. Emily Smith graduated Suma Cum Laude from Murray State University in 2003 with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She then graduated as valedictorian of her class, earning her Doctorate of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2007.
She joined the Taylorville Vision Source family in the Fall of 2015. Smith tells Regional Radio she wanted to do something medical and to have a family life with her husband and two daughters.
Dr. Emily lived in Chicago for four years but enjoys Taylorville and its hometown feel and the down-to-earth people that reside here. She likes to talk to her patients and learn more about them.
